Promote the mission, services, and image of The Fellowship Family on a continuing basis to all personnel, residents/their families, volunteers, vendors and the healthcare community via appropriate words and actions in promoting goodwill in the communities we serve.
Support the vision of the President/CEO by working cooperatively and cohesively on service and operational matters with the Executive Director, Regional Dining Services Manager, and fellow employees
Assist with the conceptualization and implementation of a superior dining culture/experience for residents and their families, guests, and employees that will make everyone involved look forward to coming back.
Lead Fellowship Home Dining Services staff through proper management to provide the same high-quality dining experience to all residents and guests regardless of location and/or acuity. Ensure all standards established by TFF and the ED/RDSM are consistently met or exceeded.
Ensure proper preparation, presentation, and taste of well balanced, nutritional meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and special diets each day.
Develop menus that fit resident needs and preferences. Coordinate with Fellowship Home care staff and other managers in creating menus and determining special dietary needs for all residents as well as specific/unique residents to ensure such diet is correctly and appropriately served.
Maintain understanding and awareness of The Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Rules and Regulations for Assisted Living Communities, interpret them appropriately, and apply them to effectively achieve and maintain operational effectiveness.
Assist ED in preparing CEMP and EPP. Attend continuing educational training and workshops required/provided by state and local EOC.
Establish and maintain time standards for food preparation for every meal served. Time between the evening meal and breakfast will not exceed 14 hours (per State regulations).
Homogenize general dining operations within Fellowship Home to create/improve efficiencies so that the two dining rooms act as one unit as well as individual components when necessary (culture, cost, scheduling, menu, processes, team building, etc.).
Establish and maintain kitchen cleaning and sanitation schedules while ensuring compliance with health and safety codes are relevant to kitchen and foodservice operations.
Ensure stated objectives will be accomplished for a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week (three shift) operation by being present at Fellowship Home at any time of day, when necessary. Each shift should be coached/collaborated with often to ensure quality standards. Create work schedules ensuring adequate staffing at all times. Ensure employees are managing their paid time and it is used properly.
Coordinate with Executive Directors and/or Activity Coordinators in creating menus and serving food for special events, sales/marketing presentations, outreach, and/or other special occasions.
Assist in creating a positive work culture for all Dining Services staff that promotes personal development, an energetic/fun attitude, effective communication, and brand loyalty that is conducive with TFFs guidelines, service standards, and brand/image.
Manage inventory for Fellowship Home to ensure proper ordering, scheduling, storage, and sanitation, all while ensuring costs are kept within established budget parameters without compromising FHF standards.
Ensure effective management of all third party vendors Fellowship Home Dining Services uses to ensure the timely completion of projects, that all projects are completed within budget parameters and at the desired quality and speed, and that all necessary information is obtained and updated to be in compliance with vendor management procedures.
Ensure the ED is kept fully informed on the conditions and operations of dining services and of important factors affecting any/all operations.
