As a Takeoff Technician, you will be responsible for processing requests for quantity take-offs from project detailed drawings. You will have to review specifications for understanding and make interpretations of information in the specifications to avoid ambiguities. You will be asked to produce takeoff reports that summarize project information and details that are used to form the basis of project estimates. In this role you will work closely with the Estimators to support the cost estimation process.
